Software engineering
Software engineering, and a few products of our own.
Knudsen Software Systems LLC, doing business as HK Group, is a one-person software practice. It takes contract engineering work, mostly in C# and .NET, and is building products of its own.

Architecture and technical strategy
Where the system should go, what it should be made of, and the order to get there in. Written down and costed.
Build the whole thing
Design, backend, front end, data layer, pipelines, deployment. One person responsible for all of it.
Prototype to production
The version that proved the idea is rarely the version you can run. We take working prototypes through hardening, testing, observability and deployment.
Cloud and infrastructure migration
Monolith to microservices, on-premise to Azure or AWS, two source-control systems into one. Done in small steps, so releases can carry on while it happens.
Team augmentation
A senior engineer working inside your team, in your codebase.
- .NET / C#
- MAUI
- Postgres
- Azure
- AWS
- Web front-end
The practice
One person, two kinds of work.
Products
Time Tracker and Project NorthHelm are in development. Parley is public as an early draft. Nothing here is on sale yet.
Consulting
Contract engineering pays for the products. The practice is one person today; it may grow into a team if NorthHelm does.
